Quality Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Overview & Responsibilities

In-process and final testing of machinery w.r.t mechanical components, result recording and usage decision in SAP QM module, releasing Inspection reports, generating related MIS. Communication with production team for rectifying in-house defects in case of any assembly deviation within targeted timeline, Communication with design team for obtaining product specification, assembly drawings for new product lines, maintaining in-process and final testing NC register, assisting in RCA/CA of NCs along with relevant cross functional team members. Maintaining all sorts of required documentation for implementing QMS at new manufacturing unit, developing SOPs, WIs, Formats where necessary to bridge the gaps in the existing QMS of various functions. Internal auditing as per audit plan coordinating with all functions and all internal auditors across the manufacturing function for smooth auditing process, keeping all audit related documentation including audit plan, audit observations, NCRs etc.; coordinating with external auditors during certification audit.

Skills

Mechanical Inspection & Testing, Fair knowledge on various international mechanical standards related to inspection, Strong Internal communication skill - verbal & written, Knowledge on quality documentation process, RCA/CA - why-why, Fish-bone analysis, knowledge on PDCA, PFD, SOP & WI, NDT Testing (preferred). Internal auditor of ISO 9001:2015. Knowledge on ISO 3434-2 is desirable.

Inspection & Testing of Incoming electrical components, Segregation, analysis and further action of electrical NC products as per company standard, Releasing Incoming Inspection Reports for electrical components, Communication with store & Procurement function for replacement of NC products within targeted timeline, Communication with Electrical design & engineering team for obtaining product specification for new components, Assist in RCA/CA of NC products along with relevant cross functional team members, Generating MIS for Electrical Incoming Inspection process. Support inspection of electrical inspection at vendors' sites where required.

We are looking for a Logistics Executive to oversee daily logistics operations, including shipment planning, route scheduling, and coordination with warehouse and purchase teams. The role requires knowledge of domestic and import logistics, documentation (including e-way bills), and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

  • • Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management, and inventory systems
  • • Manage daily routes and schedules of shipments and deliveries
  • • Track the progress of shipments
  • • Supervise loading and unloading of vehicles (if required)
  • • Regular coordination with the warehouse for freight and logistics updates
  • • Schedule inbound deliveries by coordinating with the Purchase team
